The shop windows lit up at night. We were thinking of springtime when we chose that green.

Gallery Nine is delighted to have the work of illustrator Irena Roman. We're lucky to have some illustrations she did for a cookbook (you see the cookbook with illustration in this photo.) These really are a steal for the savvy art collector who is looking for that perfect piece for the kitchen.

Local Massachusetts artist John Diehl offers some recognizable landscapes with his abstract twist.

Anna Zumwalt works in ink stick with gesso on acid free board to create her wonderful abstract pieces. And Kerry Hawkins captures images from her travels with a keen eye for the somewhat unusual but certainly interesting and attractive.

The other day I dropped by some artwork and Julie promptly put it in the window.


Since these went in the window early last week, some excellent changes have happened. We painted glossy black and citron spring-green.

Look at how striking the difference is even though the window is empty and the photo's not so good because it's nighttime.

We're hoping to change the color every couple of months. It'll be fun to think about what will come next!

Of course artwork will work with the colors. Here are two pieces that will be going in the window ASAP!
