Show reception:: Friday, April 24th from 5-7pm

Being Green's show reception is tomorrow, Friday, April 24th from 5-7pm.

We'd love for you to come and look at the submissions from local artists. A generous portion of all show sales will go to the Massachusetts Audubon Visual Arts Center in Canton. What a great cause in celebration of all things GREEN and Earth Day.

Also, please keep checking in for more details about the BIG MOVE to the new location. We're aiming for May 18th. Lots of good things are happening. We're looking forward to showing you all the wonderful new spot!

As for Grand Openings in the new shop, we're not sure when that will be but we'll surely have a big shindig at some point. Right now our focus is on getting opened.

Here is an assortment of additional photos from our happy reception at Gallery 9's "Life is a Bowl..." show. I thought it was appropriate to review our success since it's nearing time for it to come down.

Adorably, one of our submitting artists brought in cherry themed packages as props. We put them in one of Lisa W.B. Walker's bowls. Loved the look and creative thought.

Life is a bowl :: Opening Reception

Our Life is a Bowl... show is hanging and I'm happy to report that people are voting for their favorite piece. This is just wonderful. I have enjoyed watching people come in and look at all the entries intently and then cast their ballot for their favorite.

Our opening receptions are coming up! Stop by if you can, Friday, Sept. 12 from 5-7 and Saturday, Sept. 13 from 11-3.

Everything is available for sale (some at a steal of a price!) and a portion of the proceeds are going to the food pantry. It's a great cause and some great artwork.

Success!

This past Friday and Saturday we held the opening reception for our first art show this season as well as the first show since launching Gallery 9. We called it "Start!" as it was a beginning for a lot of things.

Now that we've had the reception and listened to all the feedback, it's clear we could have called the show "success!"

We want to thank our artists and our collectors and customers for their continued support. All of you make the gallery possible.
