Lisa W. B. Walker

It's important for people to know that we carry an assortment of fine art at Gallery 9. This includes oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, pen and ink and all the traditional 2D mediums---but---we also have pottery and jewelry.

Here is our own Lisa W.B. Walker helping to arrange a display showcasing her work.
Her hand is nearly touching some of her smoke fired pieces. (For more information about this special process and to see the fantastic results---please stop by. The pieces are wonderful works of art!)

And on the lighter side....

We can all be goofy. Poor Lisa knew I was taking this photo but did she suspect I'd put it on our blog? She's such fun and Julie and I love when she comes by. It's always exciting to see what new pieces she's created.

Lisa will be stopping by our gallery today. Hurray!

Call for Artisans

Another exciting bit of news about the gallery:

We're going to showcase one artisan and their work for a six-week period. We have a wonderful display area for jewelry and other 3D work which would showcase it well and offer visibility to the street through the wonderful shop windows.

We're looking for high-quality original pieces of jewelry, pottery, textiles, fiber arts, sculpture, etc. If your work shows the potential to appeal to our diverse clientèle, we're interested.

Give it a shot by applying. For further information, please refer to our Call for Artists. Any further questions? Please call the shop or email julie@customartframing.com. We'll be more than happy to assist.
